Black Magic Women's Cycling is an elite women’s cycling platform with a mission to empower these amazing women to compete at the very highest level on the world stage while promoting New Zealand, its resourceful, diverse, and inclusive people, and its incredible natural environment.
Women’s cycling has huge momentum right now, and Black Magic Women Cycling intend to use this momentum to inspire and facilitate the next generation of New Zealand women and lead in the ongoing revolution of equality, inclusivity and can do attitude.
At the core of their mission is to create pathways for young kiwi women into professional cycling. Their goal as a team is to provide development, learning and racing opportunities for promising kiwi women cyclists in New Zealand and Overseas. Their focus for 2023 is to further build our U19 and U23 program including a European racing block. Ultimately, they want to progress this team into the first New Zealand Women’s UCI team.
